Rap superstar Diddy has been placed by the bookies as the second favourite to replace Simon Cowell on American Idol.
Online gambling site Bookmaker.com have Diddy at 3-1 on to replace Cowell should he leave the reality show.
Cowell's contract with FOX runs out at the conclusion of the next season of Idol, which kicks off Jan. 12, and rumours suggest that Cowell will be quitting to star in another music reality show here in the UK.
At the moment, Piers Morgan is the favourite (at 2-1). Russell Simmons and Babyface's name are also being mentioned.
